On behalf of our dedicated staff and friends around the globe, I am honored to extend a warm welcome from The World Reserve Monetary Exchange, along with an invitation to become part of our growing family of treasured customers.

As World Reserve Monetary Exchange President, myself and Senior Numismatist Tim Shisler are proud members of the American Numismatic Association, Member #R1182062 and 135745, respectively.

In addition to a hard-working staff, The World Reserve also has an excellent team of consultants and spokespersons; Thomas C. Harris and Mary Ellen Withrow.

Thomas C. Harris was the Deputy Director at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving and Mary Ellen Withrow was the 40th Treasurer of the United States. Both of The World Reserve's consultants have extensive experience with the Bureau of Printing and Engraving and are key contributors to the success of The World Reserve Monetary Exchange.

When World Reserve Monetary Exchange was established in 2002, our mission was to open the doors to the exciting world of coin and currency collecting to everyday people with unsurpassed quality and presentation. By providing unique displays and presentations of genuine United States Legal Tender, we have witnessed hundreds of thousands of people becoming collectors for the first time. Additionally, coin and currency enthusiasts have appreciated the careful attention to detail that goes in to each of our finely crafted displays.

Coins and paper money have always had a special attraction for many people. In fact, collecting coins is one of the oldest hobbies in the world, which can be traced to approximately 650 B.C. when the first coins were minted in Asia Minor. No sooner did coins exist, and people started collecting them. Collectors enjoy coins for their beautiful art, their rarity, and the intriguing stories that can be found in these "mirrors of history."

There are many different reasons that people choose to begin collecting.
