Thomas C. Harris

Mr. Harris is a native of Washington, DC and has spent the majority of his life in the Washington metropolitan area.

Mr. Harris is a veteran of nearly 40 years in the banknote printing industry, having spent 21 years at U.S. Treasury's Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) and 18 years in the private sector with the American Bank Note Company (ABN). At the BEP, Mr. Harris rose from craftsman to Deputy Director, the position from which he retired in 2002. Upon retiring from the federal service, he returned to ABN as its Vice President, Government Sales, where he oversaw contracts with sales in excess of $1 billion per year. Mr. Harris retired from ABN as its Executive Vice President in 2006. He remains active since retiring, with ABN in a consulting capacity.

Mr. Harris is recognized world-wide as a currency, postage stamp, passport and other secure, ID documents production and distribution expert.

Mr. Harris holds graduate degrees in public administration (M.S., M.P.A.) from The George Washington University and the University of Southern California respectively. His undergraduate degree (B.S.) in business administration was awarded by the University of Maryland. He is also a 1983 graduate of the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, VA. Mr. Harris served with the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1960.
